I use them for my speed bags, double end bag and free standing heavy bag which is not real hard or heavy. They do better than any other gloves for that. Having punched at a lot of heavy bags, certainly heavy bags are not all the same, so for "real" heavy bags, go with a much fuller bag glove and not just these. They do take up a lot of space under bag gloves or sparring gloves. I like the way the fingers are still free to use the medicine ball and weights ...more

People using these as gloves make up the vast majority of negative reviews, which is a shame. As Hand Wraps these are intended to be worn beneath your gloves taking place of the original hand wraps, which you actually had to wrap around your hand. When I say small hands, I mean she often buys kids sized gloves. I also purchased the 108" hand wraps. Both worked out to be a good fit for her.
