I had tried on the Everlast EverGel Hand Wraps in large at a Big 5 store and thought that they were too big, so I ordered the mediums; however, they feel slightly uncomfortably tight and leave my hands red and sore. :( Hopefully they'll stretch a little, but otherwise they breath well and look sexy, ha! I've hit a bag a few times with them and they haven't ripped (as other reviews I've seen for them claim). Works great, other than the fact that I got a defective chain to hang it with, missing one of the hooks, and one of the three that were there was on the wrong end, so I had two hooks on 7 link chains, one on an 11 link chain (about five inches too long then) and no way to hang the thing correctly. Emailed Amazon about it, and in less than 10 minutes I had shipping confirmation for a replacement unit. There's nothing overly fancy about this product, but the key factor is that it works exactly as intended. I use it to help me with circuit training, where I have 20 exercises and want to work out for 60 seconds then have 30 seconds break. It is easy to program the unit to control number of reps, timer for workout and timer for rest. The alarm is loud (and can be disabled), and the flashing light is bright. If you are planning to attach it to yourself, you may need to find a way to comfortably use it in that fashion. It would be nice if the volume of the tones could be increased or decreased in order to hear over music, outside noise, or indoor meditation practices. It works just fine for my purposes. The timer is simple but does what it's supposed to - time rounds. It hasn't broken even after being dropped a coupled of times. And I haven't had to change the batteries ever. This timer is a big help in my personal bag-training workout because without it I wouldn't know when a round ends. It's probably not loud enough for doing more than personal bag work, but it works great for that. ...more
